Annika Sorenstam, the Only "Golf Queen" with Back-to-Back Titles

The inaugural tournament was held 53 years ago, in 1972. This is the Chevron Championship, the first major event of the LPGA Tour season. This year, the tournament began on April 24 (local time) at The Club at Carlton Woods (par 72) in The Woodlands, Texas, USA. It was elevated to major status in 1983. Until 2014, it was known as the Nabisco Championship, and until 2021, as the ANA Inspiration. It has been called the Chevron Championship since 2022. Here is a look at everything about the Chevron Championship, by the numbers.
