Regarding former President Moon Jae In's indictment on bribery charges, the camp of former Democratic Party leader Lee Jae Myung strongly objected, stating, "This appears to be a clear case of the previous administration being oppressed and subjected to political retaliation by the prosecution."

Spokesperson Kang pointed out, "The prosecution decided not to indict Kim Keon Hee, despite clear circumstances of her alleged stock price manipulation, and even gave up appealing Yoon Suk Yeol's detention cancellation," adding, "Yet, when it comes to figures from the previous administration, the prosecution is abusing its right to indict."
She continued, "The prosecution should serve as the last bastion for maintaining social order," and criticized, "We must put an end to this era of political prosecutors who cover up real crimes, fabricate non-existent ones, and abuse their power."
Spokesperson Kang urged, "The prosecution should immediately withdraw this unjust indictment."
