Hwang Kyoan Claims Election Fraud: "Na Kyungwon Is Someone Who Could Never Be Eliminated in the Primary"

On April 23, Hwang wrote on his Facebook page, "Candidate Na Kyungwon is someone who could never be eliminated from this primary under normal circumstances," and added, "Currently, on social networking services (SNS), the list of the four candidates who advanced is being called 'an obvious result of manipulation,' and public anger is boiling over."

Hwang criticized the People Power Party for not disclosing the rankings and vote percentages of each candidate in the first preliminary presidential primary, citing the Public Official Election Act, which states that 'the results of opinion polls conducted by political parties cannot be published until election day.' He argued, "How can the result that determines whether a candidate advances or not be called an opinion poll? That is not an opinion poll, but the actual 'voting result' from real votes," and said, "This is truly a case of 'pretending not to know what everyone knows.'"

He continued, "I have already warned several times, 'Please do not manipulate the votes in this primary,' but it seems that the manipulation has already begun," and added, "I know them very well."

He stated, "This series of events appears to be an attempt by parliamentary system forces to fulfill their ambitions through election fraud," and emphasized, "The parliamentary system forces, under the influence of China, will try to create their own hereditary kingdom using election fraud as a means."

Hwang stressed, "It is absurd for criminals who have stolen the people's sovereignty through election fraud and are now sitting as members of the National Assembly to dare to discuss constitutional amendments," and added, "The forces behind election fraud must be completely eradicated."
