Shinan County to Host Special Busking Festa Event at "Piano Island Festival"

Five Participants to Receive "Golden Piano" Rings as Gifts

South Jeolla Province's Shinan County has prepared a special event for the "2025 Piano Island Festival," which will be held on Jaeundo, the Piano Island, from April 26 to 27.

According to the county on April 24, the event is the "Piano Island Busking Festa," a follow-up program to last year's "I Am Also a Pianist."

Five participants will be selected to receive a "Golden Piano" ring. There is no need for advance registration or application. To participate, simply sit at any of the busking pianos located throughout the festival venue during the festival period, freely perform, and upload a video of your performance to the official social media account, the Piano Island Festival Instagram.

There are no restrictions regarding gender, nationality, or age for participation. The only requirement is a love for the piano and the ability to enjoy the "2025 Piano Island Festival." The five winners of the Golden Piano ring will be chosen based on online response, originality, and completeness of their performances.

Section Chief Chun Jungyoung stated, "The small flutter of wings wishing for happiness through the piano has crossed the ocean, connecting to Italy, the birthplace of the piano, and now Piano Island has captured the attention of people worldwide, beyond Korea. We invite everyone who wishes to create beautiful memories with the piano to Piano Island, Jaeundo."
