Launch of Four New Barosaengji and Parbake Products
Easy Cooking with Qooker After Barcode Scan
Samlip announced on April 24 that its home bakery brand, Readybee, will launch four new products in the Barosaengji and Parbake categories.
'Barosaengji' is an RTB (Ready To Bake) product that can be baked immediately after thawing. Samlip introduced the 'Authentic Croissant Barosaengji,' made by folding butter into low-temperature aged dough 16 times, and the 'Black Two-Tone Croissant Barosaengji,' which features a two-tone appearance by alternating black and gold-colored dough.
The company also launched new parbake products?'French Roll' and 'Mini Baguette'?which use Rigolleto fermented starter for a rich, savory flavor. Parbake refers to bread dough that is about 80 to 90 percent baked and then rapidly frozen. The products use rapidly low-temperature-aged dough, resulting in a crispy exterior and moist interior, making them ideal for simple sandwiches or as table bread.
Samlip is also collaborating with Samsung Electronics' 'Bespoke Qooker' to make it easier for customers to enjoy Readybee products at home. The company offers an 'Oven Scan Cook Recipe' feature, which allows for convenient baking simply by scanning a barcode. By scanning the barcode on the product package within the food service section of Samsung Electronics' SmartThings IoT platform app, the optimal temperature and time are automatically set for easy cooking. Recipes for Samlip products within the app will be continuously updated.
A Samlip representative stated, "By applying Samsung Electronics' food tech services, customers can easily enjoy home baking culture and experience optimal taste along with a high level of time efficiency." The representative added, "We plan to continue providing a variety of products and services through Readybee in the future."
