This drill was organized by the corporation and involved cooperation among public, private, and military organizations, including Busan Metropolitan City, Geumjeong District Office, Geumjeong Police Station, Geumjeong Fire Station, the 53rd Infantry Division of the Army, Geumjeong Public Health Center, the Korean Red Cross, and the National Experience Group. In total, about 240 participants took part in a simulation of real-world scenarios.

The Chungmu Drill is a comprehensive regional exercise designed to check the mobilization readiness of national resources in preparation for wartime, incidents, or emergency situations of a similar nature.
Through this drill, the corporation focused on strengthening the collaborative system among related organizations and improving the speed and accuracy of on-site response. Enhancing the ability to take immediate action to protect the lives and property of citizens was also identified as a major objective.
The drill was divided into "response to external threats" and "emergency situation recovery." Scenarios included various external attack situations at the rolling stock depot, such as drone infiltration, explosive ordnance disposal, chemical, biological, and radiological response, and suspect apprehension.
In the subsequent drill, an emergency situation was simulated based on an unexplained explosion inside a train in operation. The scenario included derailment, fire, and mass casualties. The entire process, including initial situation reporting and response, rescue and emergency medical support, and activation of on-site control and recovery command systems, was carried out swiftly according to the manual.
Lee Byungjin, President of Busan Transportation Corporation, stated, "This drill was a valuable opportunity to assess our cooperation capabilities with related organizations through an experience similar to an actual situation," and added, "Through various drills, we will ensure that we can reliably fulfill our role as the city’s transportation provider even in emergencies."
