According to the commission, a cyberattack targeting the election statistics system was detected for approximately three hours starting at 2:40 p.m. the previous day. The attack involved repeated access attempts to the website in an effort to overload the server.

The commission stated, "No damage occurred thanks to prompt action," and added, "We are currently strengthening integrated monitoring and operations, and there have been no additional signs of abnormal activity."

The commission also emphasized, "With just over 40 days remaining until the 21st presidential election, we are taking cyberattacks on the election system very seriously."
