On April 22, Bae, Kim & Lee LLC held a seminar to explore strategies for Korean companies ahead of the 100th day of the launch of President Donald Trump's second administration. The seminar was moderated by attorney Han Changwan, a former director of dispute response at the Ministry of Justice (Judicial Research and Training Institute, 35th class), and was attended by over 100 participants from more than 80 organizations in the business and academic sectors.
The lectures were delivered in the following order: Choi Byungil, Director of the International Trade Strategy Innovation Hub at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (Emeritus Professor at Ewha Womans University); Im Sungnam, advisor at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC and former First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; attorney Kim Jiina; Kang Il, an expert in fair trade and attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (Judicial Research and Training Institute, 32nd class); and foreign attorney Kim Jinhyo.
The International Trade Strategy Innovation Hub at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, which was launched in March, is comprised of experts in various fields such as international trade, customs, international disputes, diplomacy, and finance. The hub plans to conduct research on trade, global customs policy, trade disputes, and regulations, and to provide differentiated strategies to client companies.
