"Supporting SME Entry into Distribution Channels"... Korea Federation of SMEs Holds Product Evaluation Fair

Twelve Major Distributors Including Department Stores Participate
Consultations Held Between MDs and SMEs by Distributor
Various Benefits Offered Upon Channel Entry

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 23rd that it held the '2025 First Half Online and Offline Integrated Product Evaluation Fair' at the Federation’s headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.


The Online and Offline Integrated Product Evaluation Fair is a win-win initiative that supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering distribution channels in collaboration with large corporations. In the first half of the year, twelve major distributors participated, including the five major department stores (Galleria, Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai, and AK), Lotte Mart, 11st, Lotte Shopping e-Commerce, Woowa Brothers, Korea Post Shopping, Coupang, and Home&Shopping.

On this day, approximately 73 SMEs that manufacture products in categories such as food, daily necessities, health & beauty, and fashion accessories, and that passed the document screening, participated in the fair and held consultations with merchandisers from each distributor. Companies that enter the distribution channels after additional consultations will be eligible for benefits such as preferential commission rates, participation in pop-up events, and entry into sales outlets exclusively for SMEs.


Son Sungwon, Director of the Small Business Policy Division at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, said, "We will continue to pioneer sales channels for small businesses and strengthen the foundation for mutual growth in the distribution ecosystem through various cooperative projects in the future."
