Expectations for Transparent and Smooth Mediation
On April 23, Danggeun announced that it has revamped its own dispute resolution system to enhance the reliability and procedural efficiency of dispute mediation in peer-to-peer secondhand transactions.
With this update, users can now submit both the facts of the dispute and supporting evidence at the application stage for dispute mediation. In addition, once the application is completed, a 'statement of facts' is issued to the other party. Danggeun expects that this will enable both parties involved in the dispute to achieve smoother mediation.
On the 23rd, Danggeun announced that it has revamped its own dispute resolution system to enhance the reliability and procedural efficiency of dispute mediation in peer-to-peer secondhand transactions. Danggeun
Danggeun has previously intervened directly in dispute situations during secondhand transactions, such as when an item received is different from its description or when undisclosed defects are discovered, to support mediation. However, moving forward, information contained in the application and the statement of facts will be collectively delivered to the Danggeun Dispute Mediation Center, which is expected to reduce the procedural burden of dispute resolution.
A Danggeun Market representative stated, "This system update is a measure to reduce the inconvenience users have experienced in actual dispute situations and to provide a better dispute mediation experience." The representative also expressed expectations that users' waiting times and unnecessary repeated communication will be reduced.
