On the afternoon of the same day, the Latin America Defense Export Council was held, where KOTRA's specialized defense trade offices in Latin America, government officials, and local companies discussed and shared the current status of the local defense market and export strategies.

In addition, KOTRA's Mexico City and Lima trade offices set up and operated promotional booths at the defense exhibitions in Mexico and Peru, respectively, which were organized in connection with KOTRA. They provided support by arranging business meetings with overseas buyers. Participating companies at the promotional booths included Samsung Electronics, Hanwha Vision, Korea Aerospace Industries (aircraft), Covico (special vehicles), KTech (rifles), Ninanocompany (drones), and Asseta (unmanned aerial vehicles).

Kang Kyungseong, President of KOTRA, stated, "We will support the Korean defense industry in solidifying its position in the global market through active marketing activities in Latin America, a region with great potential for defense exports."

Lee Okheon, head of the Defense Industry Trade Support Center, said, "We hope that K-Defense will expand into Latin America," and added, "We also hope this will help small and medium-sized defense companies, which find it difficult to export independently, to form global networks."
