Dongan Church Practices Neighborly Love in Dongdaemun-gu for 19 Consecutive Easters

Donation of 4,030 Joy Sharing Boxes Worth 40,000 Won Each (Total Value: 161.2 Million Won)
Delivered to Marginalized Groups Through Community Centers and Social Welfare Facilities

Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pilhyung) announced on April 22 that Dongan Church and Dongan Welfare Foundation had donated 4,030 Joy Sharing Boxes, each worth approximately 40,000 won, in celebration of Easter.

Dongan Church, located in Imun-dong, has been donating Easter Joy Sharing Boxes for 19 consecutive years since 2007 to support underprivileged groups. The boxes are filled with Joy Sharing Cards handwritten by church members, as well as salt, gochujang, curry, and other items.

The donated goods will be delivered to marginalized individuals through local community centers and social welfare facilities.

Kim Hyungjun, senior pastor of Dongan Church, said, "I hope that this sharing, which has continued for 19 years, becomes a small but profound source of hope for our neighbors. As a church that works together with the local community, we will continue to fulfill our mission."
