Gumi City, Gyeongbuk is receiving a positive response for its 'Eommamoim' program, which is being operated as part of its Early Life Health Care Project and targets mothers who have given birth to their first child.

Gumi City Runs 'Eommamoim' Program as Part of Early Life Health Care Project... New Mothers Respond Enthusiastically Gumi City, Gyeongbuk is taking a photo together at the customized maternal health care 'Eommamoim'.

This 'Eommamoim' program is designed to help new mothers build confidence in parenting, share similar experiences, and form a social support network.


In particular, it was found that participant satisfaction is high due to the provision of practical childcare information through a 1:1 customized coaching program.


The first half of the program is being held at the Gumi City Family Center from April 1 to April 29, with a total of five weekly sessions for 11 households participating in the Early Life Health Care Project.


The main components of the program include: ▲Getting to Know Each Other and Becoming a Mother ▲Baby Development and Play ▲Getting to Know Your Baby (Baby Massage) ▲Self-Care ▲Making Baby Food and Wrap-Up Activities. The program also aims to encourage voluntary gatherings among participants even after the official sessions end.


Lim Myungseop, Director of the Gumi Public Health Center, stated, "The Early Life Health Care Project is a program that provides practical support especially for families raising their first child. We will continue to provide support so that both mothers and babies can grow up healthy and happy together."


Meanwhile, the Early Life Health Care Project is a customized service for pregnant women and families with infants under the age of two residing in Gumi City. Nurses and social workers visit homes directly to provide maternal and infant health consultations and parenting support.
