T'way Air Launches New Jeju-Gaoxiong Route with Four Weekly Flights

T'way Air is expanding international flight options from Jeju by launching a new Jeju-Gaoxiong route.

According to T'way Air on April 22, the flight to Gaoxiong departs from Jeju International Airport at 11:05 a.m. and arrives at Gaoxiong International Airport at 12:40 p.m. local time. The return flight departs from Gaoxiong at 1:40 p.m. local time and arrives in Jeju at 5:05 p.m. The route operates four times a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

This is T'way Air's seventh route to Taiwan. Last year, T'way Air operated 3,293 flights on Taiwan routes, transporting approximately 573,000 passengers. The average load factor was 92%, and it is reported that more than half of the passengers were Taiwanese nationals.

On the morning of April 22, T'way Air held an inauguration ceremony at Jeju International Airport, attended by key officials including Jang Sehwan, General Manager of Jeju Airport at Korea Airports Corporation, and Kim Semi, Jeju Branch Manager of T'way Air. A T'way Air representative stated, "With this new route, we can introduce the diverse charms of Gaoxiong to Jeju residents and the beauty of Jeju to Taiwanese customers.
