Eat Breakfast and Ace Your Midterms
On April 22, Gyeongnam Nonghyup operated the 'Gyeongnam Nonghyup Morning Meal Truck' for students arriving at Gaya University.
On this day, Gyeongnam Nonghyup prepared a total of 400 servings of triangular gimbap and brown rice milk, targeting people in their twenties who have a high rate of skipping breakfast. The organization promoted the importance of breakfast and aimed to improve students' health through the nationwide "Eat Breakfast" campaign.
According to research, skipping breakfast leads to a lack of glucose needed by the brain, resulting in decreased concentration and increased fatigue. To emphasize that breakfast is a crucial meal for students, the event was organized and received a positive response from students who are busy preparing for their midterm exams during this period.
President Ahn Sanggeun said, "I am grateful to Gyeongnam Nonghyup for organizing such a meaningful event for students who are exhausted from midterm exams," and added, "The university will also actively promote the importance of breakfast so that students do not skip their morning meal."
Director Ryu Gilnyeon stated, "I hope today's event encourages students to make eating breakfast a daily habit," and continued, "Gyeongnam Nonghyup will continue to promote the nationwide breakfast campaign through the Morning Meal Truck, striving to help people develop healthy eating habits."
