The purpose of these workshops was to strengthen the safety and health capabilities of partner companies and to promote communication and cooperation among practitioners. Approximately 200 people, including site managers and safety managers from more than 70 partner companies nationwide, attended the event.
The workshop was organized as a two-day, one-night program and featured practical, hands-on sessions, including: an introduction to 2025 safety and health policies and trends; practice on preparing work risk assessments (KRAS) and supplementing them using ChatGPT; analysis of accident case studies and development of response strategies; and exercises to enhance communication skills.
In particular, during the second workshop, officials from related organizations, including the head of the Serious Industrial Accident Prevention Center for the Gyeongnam region at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, attended and held a meeting with representatives of partner companies. They listened to feedback from the field and discussed institutional and technical support measures for accident prevention.
An S-OIL representative who attended the workshop stated, "S-OIL will thoroughly implement preemptive safety measures to create a safe working environment, and will continue to provide various training and practical programs to improve the safety and health standards of our partner companies." The representative added, "We will continue to actively support the government's co-prosperity policies and take the lead in spreading a culture of safety through win-win cooperation with our partners."
