"Shin Ramyun in Your Palm" Nongshim Launches 'Ramen Keyring' Globally

Since 2022, Nongshim has partnered with Bandai in Japan to offer capsule toys containing Nongshim ramen keyrings. Over the past three years, Nongshim observed that these ramen capsule toys gained significant popularity not only among local residents but also among international tourists. As a result, the company has decided to expand sales to the global market starting this year.

The global version is characterized by its faithful reproduction of the Korean-language packaging design. This strategy aims to preserve the unique appeal of K-ramen while also catering to overseas consumers who prefer Korean-language packaging.

This Nongshim ramen capsule toy collection consists of a total of nine different package designs, including Shin Ramyun, Chapagetti, Neoguri, and Yukgaejang Sabalmyeon. In Korea, they will be sold at Bandai’s capsule toy specialty stores, "Gashapon Bandai Official Shop," located in Jamsil, Seoul and Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. The products will then be released sequentially in other Asian countries such as China, India, and the Philippines, as well as in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

A Nongshim representative stated, "This collaboration will offer consumers a new way to experience the Nongshim brand through capsule toys," adding, "We will continue to promote the appeal of Nongshim, the leading K-ramen brand, to the world in various ways."
