"Second Cup for 1,800 KRW"... Starbucks Officially Launches 'One More Coffee' Program

60% Discount on Second Purchase
for Members Who Buy Any of Four Selected Coffees

Starbucks' "One More Coffee" program will be expanded to allow all Starbucks Rewards members to enjoy its benefits.



On April 22, Starbucks Korea announced that it will officially launch "One More Coffee" as a regular program starting April 23. The program was first introduced in February as a new benefit for Starbucks Rewards Gold members.

One More Coffee allows customers who want an extra cup of coffee to purchase one at a 60% discount. During its two-month pilot period, the participation rate reached 60%, with more than half of Gold members who purchased eligible coffees returning to stores to use their coupons.


In response to positive customer feedback and ongoing requests for regular operation, Starbucks has expanded the benefit from Gold members to all members. The range of drinks eligible for the coupon has also been increased from two to four options, reflecting demand for decaffeinated coffee.


Starting April 23, all Starbucks Rewards members who order one of the four eligible beverages?Cafe Americano, Cafe Latte, Today's Coffee, or Iced Coffee?in tall size or larger using a Starbucks card or account-linked payment registered on the Starbucks app will receive a 60% discount coupon 30 minutes after their purchase. The coupon can be used on any size of Today's Coffee, Iced Coffee, Decaf Cafe Americano, or 1/2 Decaf Cafe Americano. With this benefit, a tall (355mL) Today's Coffee will be available for 1,800 KRW, and a Decaf Cafe Americano for 2,000 KRW.

The coupon issuance process has also been made more convenient. Previously, customers had to manually download the One More Coffee coupon from the app. Now, the coupon will be issued automatically as soon as an eligible beverage is ordered. The coupon can be used at the original store or any other store starting 30 minutes after issuance. It is provided once per day and is valid until the end of the day it is issued.


Lee Sangmi, Head of Marketing at Starbucks Korea, stated, "We will continue to improve our benefit programs to enhance the satisfaction of Starbucks Rewards members and provide differentiated experiences and benefits through a variety of customized customer offerings."
