Small Wedding Held in LA
Hollywood star Kristen Stewart, 35, has tied the knot with her same-sex partner after nearly six years of dating.
On April 21 (local time), US entertainment outlet TMZ reported, citing sources close to Stewart, that Stewart and her fianc?e Dylan Meyer, 37, held a small wedding ceremony at their home in Los Angeles (LA) the previous day.
According to the report, the couple obtained their marriage certificate in LA County on April 15.
The wedding was attended only by close friends, including fellow actress Ashley Benson and Brandon Davis and his wife.
Stewart's spokesperson has not yet released an official statement.
Stewart began dating Meyer in 2019 and announced their engagement in 2021.
In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, she revealed that she and Meyer had discussed plans to have children. At the time, she said, "At some point, I started thinking, 'I want to have a child,'" adding, "I'm not afraid of being pregnant or having a child, but giving birth is really scary."
Stewart also disclosed that she had frozen her eggs. On a popular podcast, she said, "Meyer and I have done some really annoying things like freezing eggs," and added, "If we want to (get pregnant), we can."
Stewart made her debut as a child actor in 1999 and gained worldwide fame beginning in 2008 by playing Isabella Swan in the 'Twilight' film series.
