In the men's golf world rankings announced on April 20 (local time), Kim earned 1.7066 points, climbing six spots from 72nd place last week. He accumulated points by finishing tied for 8th (12-under-par 272) at the RBC Heritage (total prize money: $20 million) on the PGA Tour, which concluded that day at Harbour Town Golf Links (par 71, 7,213 yards) in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA. This marks his first top-10 finish of the year.
