Jeonnam Hampyeong County announced on the 20th that it had conducted a kindness training session to enhance the capabilities of volunteers ahead of the opening of the 27th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival.
On the 18th, around 170 volunteers who will participate in the Butterfly Festival completed kindness and safety training at the Theme Video Hall of Hampyeong Expo Park.
This year, a total of about 600 volunteers will take part in the Butterfly Festival over 12 days, supporting the operation of 15 programs, maintaining parking and order, promoting and providing guidance, and engaging in various other activities.
The training was organized to provide safe and pleasant services to visitors at the Butterfly Festival site. It consisted of kindness training, safety education, and an introduction to festival programs, in that order. On this day, Seosangil, an instructor from Geumgok Seodang, gave a lecture on the theme of "The Pride of Hampyeong."
County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "The Hampyeong Butterfly Festival is a representative event created together by all county residents, which makes the role of volunteers more important than ever. Your kindness and dedication will represent Hampyeong and elevate the quality of the festival."
