He continued, "As of Easter morning, looking at the overall situation, the Russian military is trying to give the impression that a truce is in effect, but in some areas, they are still making attempts to advance and cause damage."

Previously, President Vladimir Putin of Russia declared a 30-hour truce from 6:00 p.m. on April 19 to midnight on April 21, Moscow local time. This is the third truce since the war began in February 2022.

President Zelensky stated, "Russia must fully comply with the terms of the truce," adding, "Ukraine still maintains its proposal to implement a 30-day truce and to extend it."
