Installation of "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" Information Boards in Syarosu-gil, Gwanak District... Why?

Gwanak District (District Mayor Park Junhee) has installed an offline information board called "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" in the Syarosu-gil area, the district's main commercial zone, to make it easier for young people to access district government information.

"Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" is an offline information board that allows young people to access policies without searching online or installing apps. It was designed not only as a traditional bulletin board for district promotion, but also as a new form of communication, providing "youth policy information that young people encounter by chance while walking down the street."

The "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" boards regularly display a variety of youth policies in areas such as employment, entrepreneurship, housing, welfare, and culture. It is expected to be well received because it allows easy access to information even without a smartphone.

To further enhance information accessibility for young people, the "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" boards have been installed outside five stores in Syarosu-gil, a key commercial area with high youth foot traffic: Jeongsukseong Syarosu-gil Main Store, Cheongpa, Dongdaemun Yeopgi Tteokbokki Seoul National University Entrance Branch, Gogiwonchik Syarosu-gil Branch, and Publico Taco.

Additionally, the stores where the information boards are installed can naturally increase their contact points with young people and help foster a youth-friendly atmosphere in the commercial district, which is expected to have positive effects such as revitalizing the local economy.

In particular, the collaboration between Gwanak District and the Syarosu-gil Merchants Association was notable during the production of the "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" boards.

The opinions of store owners, based on their actual experiences using various types of outdoor stands, were reflected in determining the main materials, design, and locations of the "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" boards.

The district expects that the "Cheongnyeon Jeongbotong" project will help reduce the information gap for young people regarding policies and enable them to actively utilize these policies.

Starting with the outdoor installations in Syarosu-gil, the district plans to further expand youth policy promotion by installing additional information stands inside frequently visited stores and youth cultural spaces in Syarosu-gil.

District Mayor Park Junhee stated, "We are making various efforts to ensure that young people can naturally connect with policies in their daily lives and enjoy tangible benefits," adding, "We will continue to develop promotional methods that reflect local characteristics and the needs of young people."
