Na Kyungwon Campaign Announces New Lineup
Kim Heungkook Appointed as Advisor Alongside Other Prominent Figures
Singer Kim Heungkook has joined the advisory panel of the presidential primary campaign for People Power Party candidate Na Kyungwon.
On April 19, the Na Kyungwon campaign announced its new lineup. Jung Yangseok, President of Special Olympics Korea and former member of the 19th and 20th National Assembly, has been appointed as Co-Head of the Organization Headquarters.
Park Chanjong, Chairman of the Asia Economic Research Institute and former member of the 9th to 14th National Assembly; Seo Sangmok, President of the International Council on Social Welfare and former member of the 13th, 14th, and 15th National Assembly; In Myungjin, Senior Pastor of Galilee Church and former Emergency Committee Chairman of the Liberty Korea Party; and theater actress Park Jeongja, former board member of the Seoul Arts Center, have been appointed as advisors.
Kim Heungkook has been appointed to the advisory panel along with Lee Dongseop, President of Kukkiwon and former member of the 20th National Assembly, and Seo Min, Professor of Parasitology at Dankook University College of Medicine. Kim is known to have formed a connection with Na Kyungwon by supporting her campaign during the previous general election. In 2011, they also participated together in the Marine Corps Marathon.
The policy advisory panel includes Choi In, Professor Emeritus at Sogang University; Kim Hyunsook, former Minister of Gender Equality and Family; Moon Hongseong, former CEO of Doosan; Cho Younyoung, Professor at Chung-Ang University’s Department of Political Science and International Studies; Seo Jeongrim, former CEO of Lim-AMC; and Baek Hongryeol, former Director of the Agency for Defense Development.
The legal support team consists of Shim Jaedon (Incheon Dong-gu Michuhol-gu Gap) and Yoon Yonggeun (Gyeonggi Seongnam Jungwon-gu), both People Power Party district chairpersons.
