'Kindness, Order, and Cleanliness Pledge' Participation Event Begins on the 21st

Gimcheon City, North Gyeongsang Province, announced on the 18th that it will resume the 'Kindness·Order·Cleanliness Campaign Pledge and Support Event' starting on the 21st, wishing for the successful hosting of the 63rd Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival.

This event is designed to encourage all residents?including athletes, staff, and volunteers participating in the provincial sports festival?and to promote a culture of warm hospitality among citizens.
The event will run from April 21 to May 6.
To participate, citizens can visit Yeonhwaji in Gyodong, Gimcheon City, and fill out a pledge form, or leave a pledge or support message through online channels such as Instagram, Facebook, or Naver Band (Happy Together Gimcheon).
The city plans to select a total of 50 participants through a drawing and provide prizes after the closing of the provincial sports festival. Further details can be found on Gimcheon City's official SNS channels.
Previously, Gimcheon City had temporarily suspended the event to express condolences for the nationwide wildfires and their victims, but has decided to resume it to foster citizen participation ahead of the provincial sports festival's opening.
A city official stated, "We ask for your great interest and participation in support of the provincial sports festival," and added, "Practicing kindness, order, and cleanliness will make Gimcheon an even warmer and more dignified city."
Meanwhile, Gimcheon City is operating various citizen participation programs in connection with the provincial sports festival to enhance the city's image and improve civic awareness.
