Active Incorporation of Public Opinion for Expressway Service and Institutional Improvements
A Total of 70 Members to Be Selected
Korea Expressway Corporation announced that it will be recruiting members for the "Korea Expressway Corporation Public Communication Team" from the 18th to the 29th, in order to actively incorporate public opinion for improving expressway services and institutional reforms.
This recruitment aims not only to enhance expressway services but also to promote public participation in institutional reforms and ensure that the voices of ordinary citizens are reflected in the policy-making process.
The Public Communication Team will carry out a variety of activities from May to December, including proposing ideas for improving expressway services, participating in management-related surveys and evaluations, and engaging in promotional activities on social media.
Through this initiative, citizens can directly participate in the corporation's policy formulation and institutional reforms, thereby contributing to the development of expressway services and systems.
Anyone can apply regardless of gender, age, region, or occupation, and a total of 70 members will be selected.
Selected participants will receive an activity allowance ranging from 30,000 to 100,000 won per quarter, and five outstanding contributors will be awarded a certificate of commendation from the president along with a reward of 200,000 won.
Applicants can download the application form from the Korea Expressway Corporation website and submit it via email. Applications will be accepted until April 29.
Last year, the corporation collected a total of 126 public opinions through the Public Communication Team, and incorporated 10 of them, including the "Emergency Situation Notification Service Using Navigation," into actual policy improvements.
In particular, the corporation is making efforts to actively reflect public opinions related to institutional reforms in expressway services in order to create a more efficient and safer transportation environment.
Ham Jingyu, President of Korea Expressway Corporation, said, "I ask for your interest and participation in the Public Communication Team, where citizens, as the ultimate users of expressway services, can join in policy changes and institutional reforms."
