AI-based supply chain management software company EMRO has posted its highest-ever first-quarter results.
On April 18, EMRO announced that its consolidated sales for the first quarter of this year reached KRW 20.627 billion, up 41% from the same period last year. This marks the first time in the company's history that first-quarter sales have exceeded KRW 20 billion.
During the same period, operating profit was KRW 963 million and net profit was KRW 1.037 billion. While operating profit increased significantly compared to KRW 31 million in the first quarter of last year, it decreased by 60.4% compared to the previous quarter, which was the fourth quarter of last year.
EMRO explained its first-quarter performance by stating, "Amid the accelerating reorganization of global supply chains following President Trump's announcement of high tariff policies in the United States, corporate demand for direct purchasing solutions?essential for strengthening cost competitiveness and securing excellent partners?has actually increased."
EMRO's license sales for the first quarter of this year reached KRW 1.94 billion, up 49.6% from the same period last year. Technology fees from existing clients also totaled KRW 3.52 billion during the same period, an increase of 27.9% compared to the first quarter of last year.
An EMRO representative stated, "The global supply chain disruptions triggered by the US-led tariff war are, in fact, creating growth opportunities for the direct purchasing solutions market. Since the enterprise software sector in which EMRO operates is not directly affected by tariff policies, we plan to use this market environment as a stepping stone to accelerate our growth in the global market this year."
