Gwangju University announced on the 18th that it recently invited 11 outstanding companies that have made significant contributions to strengthening the practical skills of enrolled students through field training and employment linkage, and presented them with plaques of appreciation.


The event was held on the afternoon of the 16th in the conference room on the 6th floor of the administration building at Gwangju University. More than 20 people attended, including President Kim Dongjin of Gwangju University, deans and directors, and representatives from the outstanding companies (Maxyou Architects Co., Ltd., Woorideulyiagi Co., Ltd., Artech Co., Ltd., Kumho Tire, Korea Precision Co., Ltd., Douzone Bizon Co., Ltd., Shin Mira Kindergarten, URP Co., Ltd., Yeo Hankyeol Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic, The Eroom House, and Das Design Co., Ltd.).


President Kim Dongjin stated, "I would like to express my respect to the company representatives who have worked hard for student employment and regional economic development despite the frozen economic situation. Gwangju University will strive even harder to become a reliable pipeline for supplying high-quality talent and a strong partner that contributes to the development of local industries through the RISE project."


Shin Chunwoo, head of the Hosim Employment and Startup Support Center at Gwangju University, said, "With the employment environment deteriorating and young people's motivation to find jobs weakening due to the challenging economic situation, we will use this event as an opportunity to further strengthen industry-academia cooperation and devote ourselves to nurturing talent tailored to companies' needs."
