Capable of Charging 150 Buses per Day
Gyeonggi-do Ansan City announced on the 18th that the 'Cohygen Ansan Bono Hydrogen Charging Station' set up in Bono-dong began operation on the 17th.
This charging station is a large-scale facility with a capacity of 300 kg per hour, capable of charging about 150 buses daily on average.

The city plans to start operating another hydrogen charging station within the hydrogen transportation complex located at Gongdan Samgeori in Wonsi-dong later this month. This station will have a hydrogen charging capacity of 120 kg per hour.
Once the charging station within the hydrogen transportation complex begins operation, Ansan City will have a total of four hydrogen charging stations, including the existing 'Hydrogen e-Roem Charging Station' and 'Hynet Dongan Sansa Hydrogen Charging Station.'
Previously, the city established a system that supplies hydrogen produced directly at the Ansan City hydrogen production facility, completed in October last year, through pipelines approximately 10 km long. This year, as part of the second phase of the hydrogen city project, the city plans to build a hydrogen pipeline network to supply hydrogen directly to the charging station within the hydrogen transportation complex, aiming to reduce prices and enhance supply safety.
Currently, a total of 476 hydrogen vehicles are registered in Ansan City. This year, 47 hydrogen buses are also scheduled to be introduced.
Lee Min-geun, Mayor of Ansan City, stated, "We will continue to expand hydrogen-based infrastructure to become a truly 'eco-friendly hydrogen economy hub city.'"
