Korea Federation of SMEs Holds Entrance Ceremony for 'Next-Generation CEO School Advanced Course'

Education on Tax and Legal Affairs for Business Succession

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 18th that it held the entrance ceremony for the '2025 CEO School Advanced Course' targeting next-generation CEOs preparing for business succession.

The entrance ceremony was held at the Small and Medium Business DMC Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, with 25 attendees including Lee Myung-ro, Head of the Human Resources Policy Division at Kbiz, and students of the CEO School Advanced Course.


The next-generation CEO School Advanced Course has produced a total of 20 classes and 474 graduates since 2009, aiming to cultivate management capabilities of next-generation CEOs and promote mutual exchange among students for stable business succession in small and medium enterprises.


The 21st course will run for 12 weeks starting with the entrance ceremony, held every Friday with regular classes and domestic and overseas workshops. The main curriculum includes ▲Understanding tax and legal affairs for business succession ▲Leadership of next-generation CEOs ▲Economic trend analysis ▲Utilization of intellectual property rights ▲Comprehensive review of successful business succession ▲Field visits to outstanding business succession cases (overseas), among others.


The next-generation CEO School consists of an introductory course (3 days), an advanced course (12 weeks), and a growth course (once quarterly). Detailed information can be found on the Kbiz website, and inquiries can be made to the Kbiz Education Support Office.


Lee, Head of the Human Resources Policy Division at Kbiz, said, "Although the management environment is becoming increasingly uncertain both domestically and internationally, I hope this course will provide next-generation CEOs with broad insights and a firm philosophy on managing small and medium enterprises, as well as an opportunity to share each other's experiences and wisdom."
