Trademark Application Support Project... Up to 600,000 KRW Per Case
Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it will implement the '2025 Trademark Application Support Project for Small Business Owners' to support the stable business operations of small business owners and strengthen the legal protection of intangible assets. The province is now recruiting small businesses that require legal support for trademark protection.
The project will support up to 600,000 KRW per case for agent fees and government charges incurred during the domestic trademark application and registration process, enabling small business owners located in 22 cities and counties to register their business names and brands as trademarks for legal protection.
Last year, a total of 167 trademark applications were supported, and this year, the target has been increased to 184 applications. Through this project, it is expected that more small business owners will be able to strengthen their brand competitiveness based on intellectual property and secure business stability.
Small business owners who wish to receive support can check the details and apply on the Jeonnam Technopark website or the Jeonnam Intellectual Property Center website. For detailed consultations, please contact the Jeonnam Intellectual Property Center.
Kim Hyungseong, Director of the Small and Medium Venture Business Division of Jeollanam-do, said, "As cases of intellectual property infringement are increasing in the rapidly changing economic environment, this support project will be of great help in protecting the business names and brands of small business owners and enabling them to continue stable business operations."
