For Businesses in Ulsan with 5 to 50 Employees
On-site Visits by Safety Management Experts... Free Consulting Available
Ulsan City is implementing the 'Serious Industrial Accident Prevention Consulting Support Project' for small and micro-sized businesses that are struggling to establish and operate safety and health management systems.
This project aims to support companies in minimizing the possibility of serious accidents by identifying and assessing potential risks in their operational environment.
Eligible applicants are businesses located in Ulsan City with between 5 and 50 employees.
This year, experts such as certified labor attorneys and safety managers will visit companies. Unlike last year, when only one consultation per company was provided, up to three consultations (consulting sessions) can be received for more effective support.
The consultations will cover: ▲ The obligations of business owners and management under the Serious Accident Punishment Act to ensure safety and health ▲ Measures to establish and implement a safety and health management system ▲ Administrative actions required to fulfill obligations under safety and health-related laws and regulations.
Consultations can be requested on a first-come, first-served basis until December by visiting the Ulsan Yangsan Employers Federation (Daehak-ro, Nam-gu, Ulsan) or by phone, and there is no charge.
When a company requests a consultation, a safety management expert will visit the site to conduct the session.
An official from Ulsan City said, "We hope that customized consultations (consulting) tailored to the characteristics of each workplace by safety management experts will be of practical help in establishing safety and health management systems, especially for small businesses vulnerable to safety and health management."
Last year, consultations (consulting) were provided to 65 companies, contributing to the prevention of serious accidents.
