The '2025 Cheonho Bicycle Street Cherry Blossom Riding Challenge,' held over ten days until the 13th in Cheonho Bicycle Street and the Han River area in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, concluded successfully with the participation of over 4,300 bicycle enthusiasts and general residents.

The challenge course, starting from Cheonho Bicycle Street and continuing to the Han River, was operated with a 'Riding Course' (30km) for bicycle enthusiasts and an 'Outing Course' (1.5km) for general visitors.
The riding course was fully booked within a day of pre-registration with over 2,500 applicants, and the challenge fever continued with the participation of 'Maloja Able Team,' a domestic cycling club with about 400 members, and bicycle influencer Min Chaeyoon.
The outing course, designed for beginners and family visitors, was also popular. Families, couples, and friends took commemorative photos together at various spots along the bicycle street where cherry blossoms were in full bloom, creating springtime memories.
Gangdong-gu plans to hold another riding challenge this fall following this cherry blossom riding challenge. They are considering expanding the course to naturally connect with the Han River, including the Amsa Green Road, which opened on the 4th.
District Mayor Lee Soohee said, "Cheonho Bicycle Street is becoming a landmark that comes to mind when thinking of 'riding challenges' for bicycle enthusiasts," adding, "We will create a Han River uniquely characterized by Gangdong-gu as a bicycle riding hub where people can fully enjoy the natural scenery of the Han River."
