This fundraising campaign was voluntarily joined by over 1,300 employees of Yangsan City Hall, including the mayor of Yangsan. It was organized to support the victims and aid the swift recovery efforts following the large-scale wildfires that occurred in the Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Ulsan regions between March and April of this year.
Mayor Na Dongyeon said, "I hope the hearts of Yangsan City public officials can offer some comfort and hope to the residents whose livelihoods have been threatened and who have fallen into despair due to the unprecedented large-scale wildfires, as well as to those working hard on recovery efforts." He added, "I look forward to seeing continued interest and warmth from neighbors so that the damage can be restored as soon as possible."
