This campaign was planned to spread social consensus for solving low birthrate and aging population issues, centered on the declaration, "Let children be happy, youth nurture hope, and the elderly find fulfillment in Korea." Government public institutions and general local governments participate, and after campaign certification, the next participating institution is nominated in succession.
Chairman Kim participated upon the nomination of Chairman Jeong Seon-yong of the Korea Local Finance Mutual Aid Association, and nominated Chairman Jeong Jae-gwan of the Military Mutual Aid Association and Chairman Jo So-yeon of the Sejong Facilities Management Corporation as the next participants.
Chairman Kim stated, "I hope this relay campaign raises social awareness of the demographic changes caused by low birthrate and aging population, and serves as an opportunity for all sectors of society to take interest and participate," adding, "When various social actors, including public institutions, raise their voices and take action together, substantial changes for a sustainable future become possible."
Meanwhile, the Administrative Mutual Aid Association operates various welfare programs such as reduced working hours during pregnancy and childcare periods, parental leave and family care leave, infertility treatment, prenatal checkups, and leave for child care to respond to low birthrate and foster a family-friendly organizational culture. Through these, it provides practical support to help employees balance work and family life.
