Sapa-dong of Changwon Special City Receives 'Happiness Box' Donation from Sangnam Church

On April 17, Sapa-dong in Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, announced that Sangnam Church had donated 40 "Happiness Boxes" to support neighbors in need in the local community in celebration of Easter.

These boxes, prepared with the heartfelt support of church members, contain daily necessities such as Hetbahn (instant rice), ramen, canned food, detergent, and toilet paper, and will be distributed under the name "Happiness Box."


At the donation ceremony, a church representative said, "Easter is a day to spread hope and love," and added, "We will continue to practice sharing and volunteer activities to brighten the dark corners of our community."


Jin Moonkyung, head of Sapa-dong, expressed gratitude to Sangnam Church, saying, "I thank Sangnam Church for practicing neighborly love every year through the 'Happiness Box' support," and added, "Such consistent sharing activities will provide warm comfort and strength to neighbors in need of help."


Meanwhile, Sangnam Church has been supporting the Easter Happiness Box for 14 years, holds a senior citizens' party every May, and provides side dishes twice a week to 20 households of elderly people living alone and people with disabilities, continuously helping those in need in the local community.
