Revitalizing the Local Economy by Attracting Private Investment
Cheonan City in Chungnam announced on the 17th that it has begun development in the Ipjang-myeon area centered around the Football Comprehensive Center.
On this day, the city held a kick-off meeting for the 'Basic Plan Research Service for Revitalization of the Area Surrounding the Football Comprehensive Center' in the main conference room.
This research project was prepared to proactively respond to the expected increase in visitors and the expansion of urban functions following the establishment of the center.
The scope of work focuses on discovering local resources linked to the center, deriving plans to attract private investment, and revitalizing the local economy. The research period runs until July.
The report will include: ▲Analysis of the surrounding area's conditions ▲Basic revitalization plan ▲Strategies for attracting private investment ▲Strategies for linking sports, tourism, and leisure industries ▲Plans to enhance the city's brand value.
Mayor Park Sangdon said, "This research project aims to maximize the ripple effects of constructing the Football Comprehensive Center and to draw up a blueprint for regional development that all citizens can experience," adding, "We will do our best to establish a sustainable development direction and enhance the value of the city's brand."
