A man in his 70s was caught by the police for secretly filming a female spectator at a professional baseball stadium.

The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 17th that they have booked and are investigating Mr. A (70) on suspicion of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (filming using cameras, etc.).

Mr. A is accused of secretly filming the face and legs of a female spectator sitting in front of him during the game between the KIA Tigers and KT Wiz held at KIA Champions Field in Buk-gu, Gwangju around 8 p.m. the previous day.

A nearby spectator found Mr. A's behavior suspicious and reported it to an on-site safety officer, and he was caught at the scene by the police who responded.

The police plan to check Mr. A's mobile phone and other devices for illegal recordings and conduct further investigations to determine if there are additional offenses.
