This initiative was organized for farms where agricultural work had been suspended due to the wildfire. In particular, aiming to support agricultural machinery operations required for field crop planting, 35 members of the Farming Support Team and 12 staff from the Agricultural Technology Center formed five groups. From the 14th to the 16th, they carried out plowing, ridge forming, and vinyl mulching on 45 farms, covering 21 hectares of farmland.
To facilitate the assistance, the teams assessed the situation of each farm in advance and communicated with the farmers. Going beyond simple administrative support, they provided essential agricultural tasks required for planting, thereby alleviating the burden on the farmers. In addition, through the Agricultural Machinery Safety Specialists, they enhanced work efficiency by ensuring the safe and efficient use of agricultural machinery, providing significant support to the affected farms.
County Governor Oh Dochang stated, "The role of administration is not limited to sitting behind a desk; its true meaning is found when we breathe and sweat together with our residents in the field." He added, "I deeply thank the staff of the Agricultural Technology Center and the Agricultural Machinery Safety Specialists from each city and county who have helped, and we will continue to provide support for the swift recovery of the affected farms."
