Global life care specialist NewOn announced on the 17th that the first home shopping broadcast of its household goods brand 'Sallim Baekseo' was successfully completed. The company plans to expand consumer touchpoints further by conducting a second broadcast on the 23rd through GS Home Shopping.
On the 3rd, Sallim Baekseo sold a set product consisting of six 3-liter (L) laundry detergent bottles and three 1L fabric softener bottles on GS My Shop, a mobile channel operated by GS Home Shopping. During the broadcast, 2,100 sets, equivalent to 95% of the prepared quantity, were sold out, drawing high consumer response. The same set will be offered at 39,900 KRW during the GS Home Shopping TV broadcast on the 23rd.
Sallim Baekseo is a brand focused on essential daily necessities such as detergents, kitchenware, bathroom products, and cleaning supplies, targeting consumers who prioritize practicality and reasonable prices. It has received high repurchase rates and positive consumer evaluations since its first broadcast.
Representative products include eco-friendly cleaning supplies such as kitchen detergent and laundry detergent, as well as eco-friendly multi-purpose cleaners like sodium percarbonate and baking soda. The lineup based on natural ingredients has established itself as a steady seller for the brand, securing both practicality and safety.
A NewOn official stated, "In the midst of economic downturn and high inflation, we plan to continuously introduce cost-effective products that can reduce the burden on consumers," adding, "Building on the positive response from the first home shopping broadcast, we will expand the broadcast products to various daily necessities such as dehumidifiers and shampoos."
Last month, NewOn launched the personal care brands Aupe and Hedian. Both brands consist of shampoos, treatments, and body washes made with naturally derived ingredients, and have attracted attention for their safety confirmed through clinical testing from the initial launch.
