Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Namil) held a meeting of the Strategic Management Advisory Committee for its two golf courses (Bomun GC and Andong Lake GC) on the 15th at Gyeongju Bomun Golf Club.
The newly formed Golf Course Strategic Management Advisory Committee was established to seek ways to respond to changes in internal and external environments following COVID-19 and to ensure rational and efficient management of the golf courses.

In order to gather diverse and in-depth opinions from various fields, the advisory committee was composed of 11 external experts, including Professor Son Seungbeom from Konkuk University's Department of Golf Industry, and 4 internal members including the corporation's president. Various operational strategies for the golf courses were proposed during the meeting.
Each committee member presented specific ideas such as providing customized services based on the needs of MZ generation customers and big data analysis, expanding travel agency and private golf course package products, developing unique signature courses and cuisine, establishing a marketing control tower for the golf courses, and improving aging facilities. They emphasized the importance of investment in creating premium courses and efficient cost management to transform the golf courses into venues that satisfy customers.
President Kim Namil stated, "With the convening of this Golf Course Strategic Management Advisory Committee, we will make every effort, working together as a team, to closely communicate with customers in the rapidly changing golf course market, pursue the public interest as a public corporation, and achieve efficient operation of our golf courses." He added, "We will actively reflect the opinions of the advisory committee in the management of our golf courses, which are the foundation of the corporation's self-sustaining management, and continue in-depth discussions on golf course operations."
