Ayong FBC announced on the 17th that it will newly introduce the New Zealand wine 'Oyster Bay Chardonnay' to the domestic market.
Oyster Bay is a brand well recognized in the domestic market for its Sauvignon Blanc. Oyster Bay is a winery of Delegat's Wine Estate, established in 1947. Based on New Zealand's cool maritime climate and ancient alluvial soil, it is characterized by fruity flavors and a unique elegance. Upon releasing its first vintage in 1990, it was selected as the Best Sauvignon Blanc at the London International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWS).
According to Ayong FBC, the first shipment of Oyster Bay Chardonnay sold out quickly at major retailers, and pre-orders for the second shipment are currently underway. Oyster Bay Chardonnay features fragrant white peach, long-lasting lively citrus lime notes, and a creamy texture. Through fermentation and aging using 50% French oak barrels and 50% stainless steel tanks, it offers a deep and well-balanced body.
An Ayong FBC representative said, "Oyster Bay Chardonnay is an attractive wine that delivers a different depth and flavor from the existing Sauvignon Blanc," adding, "We hope you will fully enjoy the unique charm of New Zealand Chardonnay with this Oyster Bay Chardonnay."
