On the 17th, KB Asset Management published the target date fund (TDF) investment guidebook for pension investors, titled 'KB On Gukmin·Dynamic TDF Guidebook.'
The guidebook proposes TDF investment methods by age group and categorizes pension investors into beginners in society, office workers, and retirees, suggesting TDFs suitable for each investment type. It also provides additional information on the portfolio and management status of the 'KB On Gukmin·Dynamic TDF.'
To commemorate the publication of the guidebook, KB Asset Management is also holding an event. Participation is possible by downloading the 'KB On Gukmin·Dynamic TDF Guidebook' and verifying it, and up to 10 winners will be awarded 1 don of gold each through a lottery. The event period runs from the 17th to the 2nd of next month, and detailed information can be found on the KB Asset Management website.
KB Asset Management operates two types of TDF products, 'KB On Gukmin TDF' and 'KB Dynamic TDF,' considering customers' investment tendencies. As of the end of last month, the assets under management for the 'KB On Gukmin·Dynamic TDF' series amounted to approximately 1.7 trillion KRW.
'KB On Gukmin TDF' is a passive fund with low fees and low volatility, expected to provide a high compound interest effect for long-term investments. 'KB Dynamic TDF' is an active fund that actively responds to market volatility, investing in various assets such as real estate and commodities to respond swiftly to changing situations.
Last year, KB Asset Management introduced a customized product for investors targeting retirement in 2060, called 'KB On Gukmin·Dynamic TDF 2060.' With the expanded lineup, investors now have a wider range of pension product choices.
Yook Dong-hwi, Head of Pension WM Division at KB Asset Management, said, "Pension investors should select TDF vintages according to their age and situation to enable efficient asset allocation tailored to their retirement timing," adding, "We will continue to provide useful materials so that investors can make better decisions."
In addition to 'KB On Gukmin·Dynamic TDF,' KB Asset Management operates a rich lineup of pension products such as the 'KB Target Return OCIO Series' and 'KB Didim Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund,' allowing investors to build retirement pension portfolios solely with the company's products.
