Construction of RC Sports Stadium to Begin This Month at Dalbit Park, Songdo, Incheon... Opening Next Year

Construction to build a radio-controlled (RC) sports stadium in Songdo International City, Incheon, is set to begin.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced on the 17th that it has selected a construction company for the RC sports stadium project and will start construction by the end of this month. The RC sports stadium, promoted to revitalize Songdo Dalbit Park, will be built on a 50,000㎡ site with a project cost of 3.5 billion KRW. It is scheduled to be completed in the second half of this year and open in early next year.

The stadium will be developed as an "on-road circuit" (paved racetrack) meeting the standards for hosting international competitions. The existing off-road circuit will also be refurbished and used as an experience space.
