Hana Financial Group held the award ceremony for the 4th Hana Art Bus, an art contest with artists with developmental disabilities, on the 17th at Hana Bank Euljiro Headquarters to commemorate the 45th Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The 4th Hana Art Bus art contest, held with a free theme, was conducted nationwide targeting artists with developmental disabilities for about two months from December 13 last year. A total of 877 participants, 1.5 times more than the previous year, competed fiercely.

The submitted works were judged by the jury panel of Hanyang University Art and Design Education Center, selecting a total of 30 winners: 21 in the adult category and 9 in the children and youth category.

The grand prize in the adult category was awarded to artist Jo Taesung for the work titled "ZOO," and the grand prize in the children and youth category went to artist Lee Jaehyung for "Happy Museum."

A total prize money of 10.6 million KRW was awarded to the winners, and notably, three selected adult winners were offered internship opportunities at "Spring Shine," a social enterprise fostering artists with disabilities.

Chairman Ham Young-joo, who attended the ceremony, said, "For artists with developmental disabilities, painting is a precious process of conveying hope by capturing happy daily life on canvas. All members of Hana Financial Group will work together so that artists with developmental disabilities can nurture their dreams in a world free of prejudice, and we will actively participate in improving social awareness of disabilities through wholehearted support and encouragement."

Meanwhile, the exhibition is being held on the first floor gallery of Hana Bank Euljiro Headquarters until the 18th, and can also be viewed through a special exhibition at H.art1, Hana Financial Group’s complex cultural space located in Euljiro 3-ga, from April 29 to May 24. During the special exhibition period, works by artists from Hana Financial Group’s disabled art crew, "Hana Art Crew," will also be on display. In addition, the grand prize and excellence award-winning works will be exhibited at "ART BUSAN 2025," the largest domestic art fair held at BEXCO in Busan from May 8 to May 11.
