Gangnam-gu, Eunma Apartment Reconstruction Maintenance Plan Amendment (Draft) on Public Display... Resident Briefing Session on the 30th

Open for Public Inspection for One Month Starting April 18
Construction of 5,962 Units in Buildings Up to 49 Floors

Gangnam-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) announced on the 17th that it will open for public inspection the maintenance plan amendment (draft) submitted by the association regarding the reconstruction of Eunma Apartment in the Daechi-dong 316 area starting from the 18th.

This amendment (draft) will be open for public inspection for about a month from April 18 to May 21 in accordance with the "Urban and Residential Environment Maintenance Act," and any resident can review and submit opinions. The inspection materials can be checked at the Gangnam-gu Office Reconstruction Project Division, Daechi 2-dong Community Service Center, and the district office website.


Through the maintenance plan amendment (draft), the association proposed the construction of 5,962 apartment units (including 891 public rental units and 122 public sale units) in a complex with 49 floors above ground and 4 basement levels, along with ancillary welfare facilities. Notably, by adjusting the structure and area of the park, small parks and cultural parks will be arranged above ground, while parking lots and detention facilities will be designed in a three-dimensional manner underneath, enhancing the efficiency of urban infrastructure.


Detention facilities for flood prevention will be installed underground in the cultural park, and a public parking lot to alleviate traffic congestion in the Daechi-dong academy district will be constructed beneath the small park.


The district will hold a residents' briefing session at 3 p.m. on the 30th of this month on the 3rd floor of the Grand Hill Convention Center to ensure residents fully understand this amendment. The briefing will introduce the main contents of the maintenance plan amendment and directly listen to residents' opinions through a Q&A session on site.


District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong stated, "The reconstruction of Eunma Apartment is a major maintenance project representing Gangnam, serving as an important turning point for improving urban functions and residents' quality of life," adding, "We will continue administrative support to widely collect residents' opinions through public inspection and briefing sessions and to realize a future-oriented urban plan."
