The Prime Minister's Office announced on the 16th that it will hold an extraordinary Cabinet meeting on the 18th to review the supplementary budget bill.

The government announced the day before that it will prepare a supplementary budget bill worth approximately 12 trillion won, mainly allocating about 3 trillion won for disaster and emergency response, about 4 trillion won to strengthen trade and artificial intelligence (AI) competitiveness, and about 4 trillion won to support small business owners and vulnerable groups.
