Bank of Korea Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch and Financial Public Institutions Sign MOU to Promote Local Talent Development The Bank of Korea Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters signed a business agreement (MOU) with 14 organizations, including Gwangju City, to promote the development of local talent. The Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea (Director Park Wankun) announced on the 16th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with 14 organizations, including Gwangju Metropolitan City, to promote the development of local talent.


This time, the participating organizations include six institutions such as the Gwangju-Jeolla-Jeju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency and the Gwangju-Jeolla-Jeju Regional Headquarters of the Credit Counseling & Recovery Service, in addition to Gwangju Metropolitan City. Previously, in June last year, the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea signed an MOU with eight organizations, including the Gwangju-Jeonnam Office of the Financial Supervisory Service, the Honam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Honam Regional Headquarters of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, and the Honam Business Headquarters of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.


Through this agreement, the participating organizations will cooperate to ▲ support and collaborate on various programs for nurturing local talent ▲ provide training to strengthen the employment capabilities of local university students ▲ expand mentoring opportunities with current employees of public financial institutions.


Following this agreement, the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea plans to hold a joint employment mentoring event for public institutions located in the region this coming July.


In addition, the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea plans to link various programs it has been operating, such as the Bank of Korea Economic Masters, the Bank of Korea Finance and Economics Lecture, and youth economic education, with this agreement.


Meanwhile, as a follow-up to the MOU signed in June last year, the eight public financial institutions that participated in the agreement with the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea held a performance sharing meeting on the 1st.
