Heating Up Hanam's Night... 'Stage Hanam! Busking' Misa Open Performance on the 19th

Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) and the Hanam Cultural Foundation announced on the 16th that they will hold an opening performance to mark the grand start of the '2025 Stage Hanam! Busking' at 6:30 PM on the 19th at the Misa Lake Park Lawn Plaza.

Now in its third year, 'Stage Hanam! Busking' is a street performance festival that attracted over 35,000 spectators last year and has established itself as a representative cultural brand for Hanam citizens. Notably, this year’s opening performance is co-hosted by the resident autonomy committees of Misa 1, 2, and 3-dong, adding significance as a festival created together by the local community.

Furthermore, this event aims not only to bring joy and romance to citizens but also to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy and community.

In particular, with the opening of Gangdong I-Park The River in Gangdong-gu’s Godeok Biz Valley scheduled for the 17th, which includes large commercial facilities such as IKEA, Hanam City plans to strengthen the self-sustainability of the Misa Riverside City commercial district through cultural projects like 'Stage Hanam! Busking' to prevent economic shrinkage. This performance is also expected to invigorate the local commercial area by attracting weekend foot traffic and promoting consumption.

The MC for the stage on the day will be comedian Kwon Jin-young, formerly of KBS Gag Concert, who will enliven the atmosphere with his witty remarks. The first performance will kick off energetically with a K-POP brass band performance by 'Boombeat.' The lively melodies of the brass instruments are expected to enliven the spring night air.

Early in the performance, another special moment will unfold.

The 'Hanam City Character Public Exhibition,' which was greatly loved by citizens last year, has been refurbished and will return, marked by the 'Hanami & Banguli Character Lighting Ceremony.' The lighting ceremony will be broadcast live simultaneously with the performance stage, where the gentle lights of the 'Hanami' and 'Banguli' characters will beautifully decorate the spring night at Misa Lake Park, accompanied by soothing music.

This year, 'Banguli,' a friend of 'Hanami,' will also be exhibited, and the exhibition period has been extended until the end of November, allowing more citizens to enjoy it for a longer time.

The following stage is a time for the whole family to enjoy together. A kids’ musical gala show by Little Musical Star is prepared, promising a stage of dreams and fantasy for children and warm smiles for parents.

Midway through the performance, an emotionally stirring stage will continue. The emotional vocal group VOS will touch the hearts of the audience with their hit songs such as 'On Days I Miss You' and 'It’s a Big Deal.'

Additionally, there will be a segment featuring Hanam’s youth performing on stage. The street dance team 'RAWKIDZ' will deliver a vibrant and energetic performance to energize the audience.

The grand finale of this opening performance will be by the K-POP girl group Hi-Key. They will heat up the stage with popular songs including 'A Rose Bloomed Between Buildings.'
