This Yanggu 9 Views commemorative stamp was created in the form of a "My Own Stamp" to widely promote the beauty and value of Yanggu’s representative tourist attractions, the Yanggu 9 Views. A total of 1,000 sheets will be sold in a limited edition.

The commemorative stamp set consists of one central image of the Yanggu 9 Views and 14 permanent stamps, with a selling price of 10,000 KRW per sheet. Sales will be conducted at four locations: Dutayeon, Yanggu County Park Soo-geun Park Art Museum, Yanggu Baekja Museum, and the Modern History Museum, with 250 sheets limited per sales location.

The stamps were produced in a total of nine types according to the central image of each Yanggu 9 View, and purchases are limited to one sheet per person per image to allow more tourists and residents to collect them.

Yanggu-gun plans to use this 9 Views commemorative stamp not just as a collectible but as a promotional tool that captures the charm of Yanggu-gun. In particular, it is expected to leave a deep impression on visitors and increase interest in Yanggu through the images of the Yanggu 9 Views inserted in the center of the stamp.

Meanwhile, to respond to rapidly changing tourism trends, Yanggu-gun completely revamped the Yanggu 8 Views selected in 2007 into the Yanggu 9 Views in December 2023 (△1 Yanggu Arboretum △2 Korean Peninsula Island △3 Dutayeon △4 Yanggu County Park Soo-geun Park Art Museum △5 Yanggu Baekja Museum △6 Punch Bowl △7 Yanggu Bonghwasan △8 Sangmuryong Suspension Bridge △9 Gwangchi Valley).

Lee Kyung-eun, head of the Yanggu-gun Tourism Policy Team, said, “We are promoting various policies to publicize the Yanggu 9 Views, such as selling the Yanggu 9 Views commemorative stamps and operating a Yanggu 9 Views pop-up store.” He added, “We will continue to strengthen the tourism infrastructure centered on the Yanggu 9 Views and do our best to vitalize the local economy by turning it into a tourist attraction.”
